Mobile Phone Unlocking
Are you locked to a certain network provider? We offer excellent support making unlocking easier!
When you buy a new mobile phone and cell phone service, the mobile phone company is thrilled to have a new, paying customer, and it doesn't want to lose you! Unfortunately, instead of ensuring that they retain your business by offering exceptional service, they prefer the more nefarious practice of "locking" your mobile phone. This makes it impossible for you to change the Sim card and, hence, your network provider. Fortunately, many other companies offer the perfectly legal service of mobile phone unlocking - it's fast, efficient and very easy...
To find out whether your mobile phone has been locked, try changing the Sim card. This card is a small microchip that usually rests behind your phone's battery. The card identifies your phone to the network and allows the network to bill you for the calls you make. If you take it out and replace it with a card from another network, your phone may display a message like "Sim card restricted." This indicates that the phone has been locked. So to become unlocked you must remove the Sim lock that dedicates your phone to one network.
If your mobile phone is locked, the only way you can change providers is to unlock it by entering a special code into your handset. Mobile phone unlocking service providers send you a special code for a small cost, and then you are free to switch to any other mobile phone network provider.
Please note that locking is not the same as unblocking. Unlocking means freeing up the phone to be used on another network and is completely legal. Unblocking means enabling a phone to work after it has been reported lost or stolen, and is illegal.
